Sometimes there are things a regular tuning can’t fix, like:
-broken keys
-broken hammers
-hammer replacements
-damper felt replacement
-a whippen that has broken a flange or similar,
-repinning more than a single flange
-pedals aren’t working as they should
-maybe your piano is excessively dirty and needs some extra attention.
Of course, if things are an easy fix, they are included within the cost of the tuning. However, if during tuning, a larger repair issue presents itself, an hourly rate may apply. Or if you’re interested in scheduling ongoing repairs for a piano that needs a lot of repair work, a flat rate of €80 is billed per issue. If extra parts are needed, they will be billed at an additional charge. If you can source the parts on your own, only labor is needed and will be charged accordingly.
